Roisín
Founded in 2025 by Colette and Roisín,
we are passionate advocates for hands on, open-ended, child led play. Splatter and Spark was born out of love for assuring children/teens/young adults reach their full potential and helping them explore their senses through fun and creativity.
Colette and Roisín have nearly three decades of experience working in childcare, schools, hospitals and organising camps for children/adults with additional needs. Holding a BA Hons in Education (Early Years) and a Level 6 qualification in Health and Social Care, we have both witnessed first hand how messy play allows individuals to explore their senses and become creative without restrictions or limits.
We see the lack of services available and want to make the change. Play is a universal language that everyone can communicate through. Through sensory play, arts and crafts, stem activities, music and movement we create hands on experiences that ignite sparks of imagination and an exploration of splatter.
We understand that you as a parent/caregiver are constantly under pressure and we are invested in eliminating this for you. After all 'Pressure is for Tyres'. We carefully plan activities to suit your child's needs, we take care of the mess, so you can say yes!
With every splatter of colour and spark of glitter, your loved one can explore and create in a relaxed, specially designed space and you can be a part of the magic too.
